Safran Aircraft Engines Signs MoU with Maini Precision Products for CFM LEAP Engine Components

Mumbai/Paris: Safran Aircraft Engines, a global leader in aircraft propulsion systems, has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maini Precision Products Limited (MPPL), a Bangalore-based aerospace manufacturer and part of the Raymond Limited group.

The agreement marks a new phase in their long-standing collaboration, focusing on the supply of machined assemblies for the CFM LEAP engine combustors.

Signed at the Paris Air Show 2025, the MoU reinforces Safran’s commitment to India’s aerospace sector under its ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The agreement was formalized by Dominique Dupuy, Purchasing Vice President at Safran Aircraft Engines, and Gautam Maini, Managing Director of MPPL, in the presence of Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Group.

“For 25 years, we’ve worked with MPPL on machining CFM56 and LEAP engine parts,” said Dominique Dupuy. “We are now deepening this trusted partnership to support the LEAP ramp-up and further strengthen our industrial base in India.”

Maini Precision Products: Key Player in International Aerospace Supply Chain

As part of the agreement, Maini Precision Products will deliver high-performance machined assemblies used in the LEAP engine combustors, which power next-generation single-aisle commercial jets.

The five-year contract reflects MPPL’s capabilities in delivering complex aerospace components with global operational standards.

MPPL, which has earned a strong reputation among global aerospace OEMs, was one of Safran Aircraft Engines’ first suppliers in India. It has delivered critical N2, N3, and N4 engine components for over two decades, establishing itself as a key player in the international aerospace supply chain.

This expanded agreement is a strategic milestone that showcases Maini Precision Products’ growing role in high-value aerospace manufacturing, while enhancing India’s position as a trusted hub for global aviation technologies.
